चंदन कुमार वर्मा, उमरिया। जिले के इंदवार थाना क्षेत्र से पुलिस प्रशासन की बड़ी लापरवाही का मामला सामने आया है। दुष्कर्म के गंभीर मामले में गिरफ्तार आरोपी पुलिस अभिरक्षा से फरार हो गया, जिससे पूरे विभाग में हड़कंप मच गया है।
मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, फरार आरोपी राम नारायण दाहिया पर अपनी सौतेली बेटी से दुष्कर्म करने का गंभीर आरोप था। पीड़िता ने साहस दिखाते हुए घटना की शिकायत थाने में दर्ज कराई थी, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए आरोपी को हिरासत में ले लिया था।
बताया जा रहा है कि आरोपी को इंदवार थाने लाया गया था, जहां से उसने पुलिस को चकमा देकर फरार होने में सफलता पा ली। आरोपी के भागने की खबर मिलते ही वरिष्ठ अधिकारी तत्काल थाने पहुंचे और घटना की जानकारी ली। साथ ही, लापरवाही बरतने वाले पुलिसकर्मियों पर सख्त कार्रवाई के संकेत दिए गए हैं।
वहीं, आरोपी की तलाश में पुलिस की कई टीमें गठित कर संभावित ठिकानों पर दबिश दी जा रही है। पुलिस सूत्रों का कहना है कि फरार आरोपी को जल्द ही गिरफ्तार कर न्यायालय के समक्ष पेश किया जाएगा।
यह घटना न केवल पुलिस की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े करती है, बल्कि पीड़िता और उसके परिवार की सुरक्षा को लेकर भी चिंता पैदा कर रही है। जिले के नागरिकों ने इस मामले में आरोपी की शीघ्र गिरफ्तारी और जिम्मेदार पुलिसकर्मियों पर कार्रवाई की मांग की है।
नागेंद्र प्रताप सिंह SDOP ने बताया कि पुलिस पूरे मामले की जांच में जुटी है और फरार आरोपी की तलाश जारी है।
