पपौंध थाना प्रभारी बृजेंद्र मिश्रा के जले हाथ, ग्रामीण कर रहे हैं वीरता की सराहना
राहुल सिंह राणा, 9407812522- शहडोल। जिले के पपौंध थाना क्षेत्र के हीरापुर गांव में रविवार के दोपहर एक दिल दहला देने वाली घटना हुई, जब एक कच्चे मकान में अचानक आग भड़क उठी। घर के अंदर चार लोग फंसे हुए थे और बाहर अफरा-तफरी मची हुई थी। तभी थाना प्रभारी बृजेंद्र मिश्रा मौके पर पहुंचे और बिना किसी हिचकिचाहट के जलते घर में कूद पड़े। उन्होंने अपनी जान की परवाह किए बिना अंदर फंसे सभी चार लोगों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल लिया।
इस दौरान थाना प्रभारी मिश्रा के हाथ झुलस गए, लेकिन उन्होंने हिम्मत नहीं हारी और तब तक बचाव कार्य में लगे रहे, जब तक सभी लोग सुरक्षित बाहर नहीं आ गए। घटना में घर के मालिक रूपधारी जायसवाल (40 वर्ष) गंभीर रूप से झुलस गए हैं, जिन्हें उपचार के लिए अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।
खाना बनाते वक्त लगी आग
पुलिस के अनुसार, हीरापुर निवासी रूपधारी जायसवाल के मकान में खाना बनाने के दौरान चूल्हे से आग भड़क उठी, जिसने देखते ही देखते पूरे घर को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया। ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि आग इतनी तेजी से फैली कि किसी की हिम्मत घर के अंदर जाने की नहीं हुई।

थाना प्रभारी मिश्रा ने बताया,
“मैं क्षेत्र भ्रमण पर निकला था, तभी देखा कि एक मकान में आग लगी है और अंदर से चीख-पुकार की आवाज आ रही थी। बिना समय गंवाए मैं अंदर गया और चार लोगों को बाहर निकाला। बाद में थाने से सूचना देकर अतिरिक्त मदद मंगाई।”
आरक्षक ने दिखाया सूझबूझ
घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही आरक्षक नबी खान ने सड़क पर सिंचाई कर रहे एक टैंकर को मौके पर बुलाया और स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से आग पर काबू पाया गया। इस अग्निकांड में घर में रखे सामान तो जल गए. गनीमत है कि मानव जीवन सुरक्षित रहा.
लाखों का नुकसान, लेकिन बच गई ज़िंदगियाँ
इस भीषण अग्निकांड में ग्रामीण के मकान और घरेलू सामान जलकर राख हो गए, जिससे लाखों रुपए का नुकसान बताया जा रहा है। लेकिन थाना प्रभारी की त्वरित कार्रवाई से चार लोगों की जान बच गई, जिसके लिए पूरे क्षेत्र में पुलिस की वीरता और मानवीय संवेदना की सराहना हो रही है।
